We asked and you answered.

What was your most cherished memory as an undergraduate brother?

Spontaneity
My favorite thing to do was wake everybody up in the morning whenever we had a philanthropy or Greek event.
Tom Haigh (2003)

I remember all the group activities we always did, like serenading, flag football, barbecues at Wash Park , practical jokes, campus golf at midnight, going to Hooters after a football or basketball game. Its bonding like that, that makes it worth while.
Paul Broussard (2000)

Woodsies were my most cherished memories!
Steve Dawes (1972)

The post chapter trips to Hooters with a large group to watch Monday night football were always great bonding trips!
Mike Turner (2002)

Support
All I can say is my best friends right now are my brothers who were in my pledge class. Theta Chi and a fraternity is for life, I have made some great friends who I will know forever. Also a house is only as strong as its members and thus participation and living in the house is key to our survival on campus.
Jeff Gillis (2001)

I don’t have a favorite tradition; they are all wonderful and part of the fraternity. I would say that one of the best parts of Theta Chi was having a whole house of brothers to encourage an individual to follow their dreams. Remember if you are not living your dreams that just means somebody else is!
James Dewhirst (2002)

Traditions
There were two, the SNEAK and T grouping during pledge week. Both built understanding of each other as individuals and team work.
John A. Crystal Jr. (1969)

Being part of the founding fathers and going through the ritual. The brothers were all very good people and we had a great time.
Jerald Kerlin (1999)

I’ll always remember our Thursday night poker games with Dave, Matt, Gary, Luis, and sometimes Kathy. We always had a great time.
Greg McBoat (2001)

The See-Saw-a-Thon is a memory that unfolds as I remember the cold nights, wondering if I'll make it to day-break. There is something in this event that brings together every fraternity and sorority.
Duane Lerew (2003)

Living in the House
Being one of the first two absolute residents of the Columbine Chapter House will always mean a lot to me.
Jason Evans (1998)

While in Theta Chi, I have no one favorite memory, living in the house for 2 years a lot of fun times. Also working hard in the late hours as secretary bringing home Gamma Lambda's first Alter Award.
Jeff Gillis (2001)

My best memories of Theta Chi are living in the Fraternity House. I can't emphasize this enough—an awesome experience.
Mario Sisneros (2000)

Luck!
I thought I pledged Sigma Chi and wrote it down wrong and ended in Theta Chi! I guess I was God’s wish!
Bill Mortensen (1969)

A Little Bit of Everything
When it comes to things I miss and favorite memories, I’d have to day I miss wearing my mullet all the time! I'll never forget dancing to staying alive with Tor Stenbakken (2004), Brian Elizardi (2004) and Nick Sauer (2005) at Halloween. I loved being in the house during the crazy blizzard in 2003, there's nothing like being stuck with lots of your brothers in 4 feet of snow. I loved the retreat to Tom's cabin and just hanging out and talking with you guys. It was nice to have Tor living right down the hall and living in the house was a blast.
DUSTIN LINDAHL (2004)
