FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
The Gamma Lambda Chapter of Theta Chi has proudly boasted the lowest dues ($325 per quarter) and rent compared with other fraternities and sororities on the University of Denver campus. As a chapter, we are committed to keeping the costs of brotherhood down as to promote brotherhood and service to the community and not unnecessarily burden the undergraduate brother and his family.
As brother in Theta Chi Fraternity, it is important that your son meet his financial obligations on time and in full. One of his primary responsibilities to his brothers is to meet this obligation every quarter. In order to operate, every member must pay his fair share because this maintains the operational finances of the entire chapter.
If a brother is late and has not arranged a payment plan with the Treasurer, he is delinquent and is negatively impacting Gamma Lambda’s financial stability. The Gamma Lambda Undergraduate Chapter and Alumni Corporation are committed to working with brothers to meet the financial obligations of being a brother in Theta Chi. If a brother falls on hard times or is unable to pay dues or rent, it is our obligation as brothers to extend him a Helping Hand. For this purpose, we have developed a Helping Hand Fund to offset some of the financial burdens for brothers who struggle with finances. For more information, see Ways to Give.
